The ECLF has another fine Colt Single Action Army revolver to be raffled at the All Colt Show in Concord, North Carolina. In 2008 we disbursed funds to the Whittington Adventure Camp, Raton, New Mexico, Ft. Hayes State University Shooting Sports Club, Ft. Hayes, Kansas and the Pine High School Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC), Florida. We will be announcing future disbursements at the Colt Show in October. Our President, Jan Quick, has a column in the magazine that updates the membership. Please check her column and find out what we are doing to encourage and facilitate our youth in firearms related endeavors. The ECLF appreciates your support in our continuing efforts.

Thank you Lt. Gen. William M. Keys, President and CEO, Colt's Manufacturing Co., LLC, for the donation of this fine Colt Single Action Army revolver. The foundation and the Colt Collectors Association appreciate your continuing support.

This year we are introducing Joyce Rubino, Vice President, Colt's Manufacturing Co., LLC. Joyce has replaced Mike Reissig.

Joe Canali and Kathleen Hoyt, Colt Historian, are part of the design team that brought this project to completion and we thank both of them for their continuing support.

As always, we thank Denise Thirion for the superb engraving on the Ladies Gun "Legacy 2009." Denise has been our engraver of choice since we started using the Colt Single Action revolver. She is a highly skilled and desirable engraver. This year's winner adds a fine addition to his/her collection.

The Colt factory letter is an important part of the process. Thank you, Kathleen Hoyt, Colt Historian, Joe Canali and Beverly Haynes.

Les Yoder continues to donate deluxe museum style cases for the Ladies Gun and the Show Gun. Les and Earl Whitney designed both museum quality cases. We appreciate their efforts and thank them for their continuing support.

The fine scrimshawed ivory stocks for "Legacy2009" were donated by Jim Alaimo, Nutmeg Sports, Tolland, Connecticut. Thank you for your support.

Albert Brichaux, Las Vegas, Nevada, gave us permission to use his Elizabeth Colt photograph for the scrimshaw on the left grip panel. Thank you for your continuing support.

For the past three years Earl Whitney and Barbara Hinesley have donated items to go with the Ladies Gun. Thank you both so much for this year's donation of the engraved gold star and for your hard work on the 2009 CCA Concord show. Michael Dubber donated the engraving for the gold star and we thank you for your efforts and talent on behalf of the ECLF Ladies Gun and the CCA Show Gun.

The Elizabeth Colt Legacy Foundation and the Colt Collectors Association continue to be successful due to the contributions of many of you. You have our grateful appreciation.
