Following is new information regarding the requirement that all member table holders at the CCA Convention in October at the Wyndham Greenspoint, Houston, Texas, must have a Texas Sales Tax Permit.

MEMBER TABLE HOLDERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLYING WITH TEXAS STATE SALES TAX REQUIREMENTS. It will be the responsibility of the individual CCA member table holder to comply with Texas State laws regarding the State Sales Tax Permit requirements. Information regarding the Sales Tax Permits may be found on the Texas State Comptroller's website: http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxpermit/ or by calling toll-free (800) 252-5555. There is no cost for the permit. The member table holders are also responsible for remitting the appropriate Texas Sales Taxes and form to the Texas State Comptroller's Office.
