CCA members Jim Parrish and Jesse Lewallen will be the hosts for this event. They will be promoting the upcoming CCA All Colt Concord, NC convention, October 1 - 4 and initiating a membership drive.
August 15 features "An Overview of the History of Colt Firearms," with a session on development of metallic cartridges, early black powder Single Action Army revolvers and the development and production history of the Double Action revolvers. A question and answer period will follow.
The second session features "Colt Antique Firearms - first generation Colt Single Action Army civilian revolvers, the Model of 1878 Double Action revolver and the later design "magnum" frame revolvers."
The seminar will be followed by a display of firearms with research tables. There will also be an in-store evaluation of customer provided Colt firearms throughout the day.
